I started this one en plein air with one of my painting buddies, Ann. Unfortunately, my subject moved, as cows do, so I had to finish her in studio. It’s a simple scene, but sometimes they are my favorites. I hope you can feel the humidity in the trees along the back side of the field. Morning painting is the only way to go in summer around here!
